ABOUT BWIT

Birmingham Women in Technology provides regular monthly programming for women working in technology, including opportunities for mentoring, education, and career development.

BWIT’s Mission is to increase, retain, and ensure representation of women in tech and tech leadership roles in our community. To support community and state initiatives in increasing the pipeline of women in IT in support of diversity and inclusion goals and help attract companies to invest in our community.

Our Vision is to advocate for, empower, and provide guidance to females pursuing and navigating tech careers by providing access to programs, events, education, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Provide opportunities for women to support other women with our mission.
